Analysis - Valdes is again a solid goal-keeper with Pinto proving to be an able replacement. Neither are World-Class however and while Valdes is not old he doesn"t have the potential to get much better. Verdict - A decent duo to start with but a long-term and World-Class replacement should be in the back of your head. Fullbacks - Éric Abidal, Daniel Alves, Maxwell Cabelino Andrade, Carles Puyol.
Analysis -You have a brilliant foundation to work off here with Alves and Maxwell bei
ng extremely good options at RB and LB. Abidal proves an able rotational player and a good candidate for games where you will need to be defensively solid. At RB you are also fairly settled with Alves making the position his own, along with Puyol who can slot in at RB should he be needed there.
